Onsite Auctions

It’s important to note that anytime an auction states “onsite” that the auction has different terms and conditions vs. our regular warehouse auctions.

  1. The items are not stored in any of our warehouses, but on premises of the address stated in the auction.
  2. The removal terms are different from when you win in our warehouse auctions. Removal terms are always clearly stated in the auction. With an onsite auction, we only have access to the properties for a limited time only. Therefore it’s very important to pay close attention to when load out times are stated. Any items not picked up within the load out times will have their winning items forfeited without any refund.
  3. Please take the time to preview items you are bidding on.
  4. There is one item condition that stands out from our warehouse auctions and that is “on-premise guarantee”. Not all items may have that condition stated, but it’s important to note and be aware of this term. ‘All items sold under the On Premise Guarantee at auction are guaranteed for their ‘Functionality Only’. This merchandise must be inspected prior to leaving Auction Nation premises.’ Once the merchandise has left the premises, the guarantee is null and void. Preview is recommended. Please take the time to inspect the functionality of the item prior to leaving the premises.

 

ON-SITE AUCTIONS – On-Site Auctions have limited pickup days (2) and times due to having limited access. If NOT picked-up in the specified time frames, items will be forfeited without refund or credit. If the winning items require disassembly winning bidder is responsible to bring their own tools, equipment, and manpower.

 

Item Conditions

Pay close attentions to this stated item condition in each lot before bidding and take the time to understand the difference of each condition. 

  1. 24 Hour Guarantee: All items sold under the 24 Hour Guarantee at auction are guaranteed for their ‘Functionality Only’, for 24 hours from the time of pick up or 3 full days from the end of the auction, whichever comes first. On the 4th day, the guarantee is null and void. If there are any claims under the 24 Guarantee, Auction Nation MUST be notified within 24 hours of pickup, either by email, phone or walk-in. The merchandise MUST be returned within 48 business hours of notification for inspection. This Guarantee is for the functionality of the item ONLY and not the cosmetic condition, look, or general condition. Please see description for included accessories, we do not guarantee accessories and parts that are not listed in the description. We are also NOT responsible for any damage or injury caused by this item. Preview recommended.
  2. Operational: The information that we have on this item is that it was operational immediately prior to the auction. However, these items have no warranty and are sold As-Is. There will be absolutely no refunds or chargebacks allowed. All sales are final.
  3. As-Is: Preview is recommended. This item is being sold in as-is condition. We are unable to guarantee this item’s working ability or this item has a defect of some kind. Some parts or accessories may be missing that affect its functionality. In addition, this item has cosmetic or general condition issues. Repairs may be needed. There will be no refunds, chargebacks, or credit issued for this item after the auction.
  4. Untested: We are unable to test this item. This item is being sold without a warranty of any kind. Due to the nature of this item, we are unable to verify this item working ability or we were unable to test this item for functionality. Preview is recommended to inspect the item and to verify all parts and accessories are present. There will be no refunds, chargebacks, or credit issued for this item after the auction.

 

REMOVAL OF ITEMS– All items must be picked-up and removed within the specified days listed within the details of each individual auction following the close of the auction. Winning bidders must be prepared to load and transport or make shipping arrangements on all items at their own expense. If items are not removed within specified time frame following the auction, items will automatically be forfeited without refund or credit.

 

Other Helpful Information

Items won at our Mesa, Glendale, North Phoenix or Irving, TX warehouses are available for pickup 5 days from close of auction. If items are not picked up by close of business on the 5th day, items are FORFEIT! No refunds will be granted for forfeit items.

  1. All lots are provided by a consignor. Items labeled “NEW” may not necessarily be “new” as seen in stores.
  2. Lot descriptions are based on the items’ original title and may not include everything listed. Items may be missing pieces/hardware and may have cosmetic damage. *Missing hardware and cosmetic damage are not covered under ANY warranty. 
  3. Carefully review ALL images. What is shown in the pictures is what you are receiving. If a part is missing in the pictures, it is missing from the item. *The first picture shown may be a stock photo from the manufacturer and are for references only. 
  4. Verify “locations” and “loud out times” – especially onsite auctions. Onsite auctions load out times are non-negotiable.

Remember the forfeit policy at all times. If you cannot pick up items within 5 days of the auction, please make other arrangement or DO NOT BID. We cannot hold items. 

Invoices are emailed to the address on file at the close of auction. Invoices are available in your profile under the “invoices” tab. If you are currently bidding and you feel you have won an item but did not receive the courtesy email, PLEASE check the invoices tab regularly. Refunds for items forfeited because you did not receive an email will not be granted.

What To Do:

Where can I find my bidder number?

Your bidder number can be found on your Auction Nation account or on the top left corner of your invoice

Log in, hover over “My Account” in the top right corner of main page, select “My Account” again from the drop down menu that appears, and your bidder number can be found at the top of the next page.

Where will I receive my $300 back?

All holds are voided Saturday morning following close of auction. Typically, it takes around 3-5 business days for funds to be available in your bank account again

Check your account periodically over the 3-5 days, if you still don’t see it after 5 days, call your bank or give us a call and we will ensure that everything has been done on our end/tell you to call your bank

Do you offer shipping between warehouses?

No, unfortunately, we no longer offer shipping between warehouses

Are your auctions open to the public?

Yes

Go to www.auctionnation.com, create an account, upload a credit card, and begin bidding!

Are there any fees?

Yes. For our auto auction, there is a $125 transaction fee per vehicle. For all other auctions, we charge a buyer’s premium of 15%

What is a buyer’s premium?

A buyer’s premium is a fee charged to our bidders to bid with our company

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Refunds are usually processed within 3-5 business days from date of request. From there, it takes 3-5 business days for the funds to show in your bank account

If you do not see your refund processed or funds in your account after 10 business days, please give us a call and we will look into that for you

Where do I pick up my items?

We have load out for our auctions at multiple locations. This information can be found within your invoice, auction details, and within the auction under the “Dates & Times” tab

To view this info, simply scroll down to the bottom of your invoice. Or while viewing an auction, click on the “Dates & Times” tab or “Location” tab and the load out times and location will be listed there

How do I arrange shipping?

How can I contact Elwood?

Unfortunately, Elwood doesn’t have a phone, however, they do have email.

Can I send someone else to pick up my items?

Yes!

Give us a call and have that person/company added to your account. Once they are added, that means you have authorized them to pick up for you.

How do I sell my stuff through your auction?

Currently, we aren’t taking consignments. If you have various items to sell or can host your own auction, we are definitely interested in you!
